Horse power is at the heart of the business which is aptly named after William Hewitt, grandfather to owner, Patrick O’Brien.
William trained heavy horses to work the land, who in later life until his passing gave those same horses he trained a sanctuary for a happy retirement.
Just think how much horse power he welded for farmers to plough and drill their land!
Patrick’s motor trade career spans over 30 years, originally qualifying as a Technician at college he went on to carve a successful career within Main Car Dealerships and progressed to the top achieving Gold Level Master Technician.
Following his passion for fast cars he moved to an independent Porsche Dealer based in East Anglia as a Senior Technician and Sales Executive for over 10 years, expanding his knowledge base about everything Porsche. Utilising his experience with Porsche the natural step was to start his own business, he then established William Hewitt Porsche Specialists in North Norfolk in 2016.
Patrick is well known amongst Porsche community all over the UK as the man to go to for any type of Porsche enquiry. His meticulous attention to detail, professional work ethic, passion for Porsches and quality of work is second to none. As a customer once said “what Patrick doesn’t know about Porsches isn’t worth knowing!”.
Patrick is a regular feature in the Porsche Post and 911 World magazines and can often be found at Porsche Club events and is happy to chat to fellow Porsche enthusiasts.
